Tonight’s sleep meditation will help you fall into deep sleep when you’re feeling totally exhausted.

Tonight’s meditation is for when you’re feeling totally exhausted,

Heavy and tired deep into your bones.

Let it nourish you,

Relax you,

And invite you to peacefully settle into deep sleep.

So Let’s Begin…

TOTAL EXHAUSTION SLEEP MEDITATION SCRIPT

Go ahead and let your body stretch out wide,

Expanding your arms and your legs out as far as they can go,

Feeling your muscles stretch and open as you breathe in.

And then as you exhale,

Release the stretch,

And nestle yourself into your most favorite sleeping position,

Adjusting and moving a bit until you find that special spot.

Then take a big, full breath in,

And then exhale completely,

Releasing the air,

Releasing the tension,

Releasing the day.

PAUSE…

Be here,

And breathe.

Surrendering to the soft, calming rhythm of your body.

PAUSE…

Following the waves of air going in and out of your nose,

Feeling the blankets on your skin,

And hearing the gentle sounds of the night.

LONG PAUSE…

Your body is exhausted.

Your mind is exhausted.

Your soul is exhausted.

So let yourself come here,

Into the sweet sanctuary of the stillness,

And surrender it all to the night.

PAUSE…

There’s nothing for you to figure out,

There’s nothing for you to carry.

Here, in the depths of the night,

You are free to let it all go,

And drift into sleep.

PAUSE…

The night will embrace you,

Nourish you,

And heal you.

All you have to do is let her.

So open up your heart to her love,

And let her infuse you with restorative sleep.

LONG PAUSE…

See if you can imagine a comforting, heavy blanket being laid on top of you.

Let yourself feel the weight of the blanket,

Not too heavy,

Not too light.

Just the right amount of weight.

PAUSE…

Feel it melt you deeper into your bed,

As you are comforted by its loving embrace.

PAUSE…

Breathe out,

And release.

Breathe out,

And relax.

PAUSE…

Feel the softness of your blanket,

Caress your skin with a gentle touch.

Reminding you that you are safe,

And that you are loved.

LONG PAUSE…

Like a baby wrapped in the softest blankets,

And cradled in the arms of love,

The night cradles you.

Gently,

Tenderly.

In sync with the rhythm of your breathing,

Calmly welcoming you into deep sleep.

LONG PAUSE…

Let go,

And go with her now.

Wrapped in love,

Embraced by the warmth,

And completely free to drop into the depths of sleep.

PAUSE…

She will restore you,

She will protect you,

She will breathe life into your exhausted soul once again.

So you can awake full of light,

Love,

And graceful energy.
