So close your eyes,
And rest your body into the comforts of your bed.
Let your breathing expand,
As you let it slow you down.
And breathing out.
Slower and slower each time,
Until you settle into a relaxing, regular rhythm.
Feel your body on your bed,
The way the blankets touch your skin,
The firm comfort of support beneath you,
And the welcoming curves of your pillow.
And bring yourself here,
Onto the edge of sleep.
Feel the soft dirt under your feet as you stand here.
The slow breeze brushes your face,
And whispers comfort in your ears.
You look out upon the canyon in front of you.
The expanse of the sleepy night.
The blues and blacks and purples all stream slowly across the sky,
Painting the canyon with their glow.
She’s here to hold you,
The vast canyon of sleep,
And guide you gently through the night.
She’ll keep you safe,
And cover you with love.
So sink your feet further into her sand,
Lay your head back,
And surrender into her arms.
Float slowly through the canyon, dear one,
There’s so much for you to see.
The truths of the Universe reveal themselves here,
And breathe in the magic.
The stars above were created just for you,
Feel their calming sparks of light.
