So Let’s Begin…

PROCESSING SADNESS MEDITATION SCRIPT
Sometimes it rises slowly,
Like the levels of the tides,
Gently lapping your heart.
Sometimes it gushes in,
Like a summer monsoon,
Flooding and tearing apart.Â
PAUSE
However it comes,Â
It eventually becomes,
A blue, drowsy haze,
A blanketing malaise.Â
PAUSE
Open yourself and breathe,Â
Deep into your core.Â
Surrender to the sadness,
Don’t fight anymore.Â
LONG PAUSE
Perhaps you can imagine,
This precious pool of tears,
Laying itself at your feet.Â
Perhaps you can imagine,
Slowly stepping in,
In its waters, you become steeped.Â
PAUSE
Be here and float,
Let everything go.
If tears come to call,
Just let them fall.Â
LONG LONG PAUSE
In moments like this,Â
When sadness pervades,
We often ask ourselves why.Â
That often leads,
To an awarenesses that,Â
Connect us in the Divine.Â
PAUSE
It deepens its blow,
Yet softens it more.Â
Soon we can see,
What it all means.Â
PAUSE
Open yourself and breathe,Â
Deep into your core.Â
Surrender to the sadness,
And see what it’s for.
LONG PAUSE
Like water that flows,
Through mountains of rocks,
The sadness will carve out its space.Â
Allow it to shape you,
Change you and teach,
Flood you with love and with grace.Â
PAUSE
It opens and spreads,
Blossoms and sheds.
Catharsis reveals,
All of it heals.Â
PAUSE
Open yourself and breathe,Â
Deep into your core.Â
There’s beauty in sadness,
So much to explore.
LONG PAUSE
Namaste, Beautiful
