MORNING MEDITATION – SETTING INTENTIONS FOR A NEW DAY MEDITATION SCRIPT
So go ahead and settle into a position that’s comfortable for you.
Making sure your body is relaxed and alert.
Allowing the rhythm of your breath to lull you deeper into relaxation.
Take a deep breath in,
Inviting in the new energy of the morning and letting it fill your belly.
And release your breath.
Take one more deep breath in, feeling the fresh air go all the way down to your toes,
And exhale all the way out.
Bring your breathing to its normal rhythm,
And notice the little tingles of oxygen gently waking up your body.
Breathe…
PAUSE…
Now place your hands on your heart,
Feeling the warmth of your skin,
Noticing the drumming of your heartbeat.
And sink into deep connection to yourself.
Your heart.
Your desires.
Your SELF.
Breathe…
PAUSE…

Today I start my day with gratitude,
Gratitude for my breath. Gratitude for my body. Gratitude for my life.
Gratitude for this opportunity to live another day.
Gratitude for the people who love me and whom I have the privilege of loving.
Gratitude for food and shelter, gratitude for xxx
Gratitude for the pain that teaches me,
And the joy that guides me.
Thank you for this day.
Take a deep breathe in,
And release.
PAUSE…
Today I choose love.
To be love. To give love. To receive love.
Today I choose kindness, and today I choose grace.
May I listen to my inner voice with attentive ears,
And courageously act upon her words.
Trusting that her guidance will always lead me down the best path for me.
PAUSE…

May I move through any pain with bravery and tenderness,
And bestow others with mountains of grace.
May I know when to push and when to let go,
When to be tough and when to melt with softness.
May I accomplish those things that fill myself and others with joy,
And may I contribute at least a drop into the ocean of goodness for the world.
May I be whole.
And may I be love.

Now the music will continue to play for a few more minutes,
And as it does, simply use this opportunity to sit in the richness of your intentions.
