This make room for miracles meditation will guide you through a visualization that will help you loosen your grip on the logistics of life and open yourself to the miracles waiting for you.
So often as we are busy planning and managing our lives, we can get stuck in allowing logic to lead our decision-making, and we can forget to make room for miracles. We try to line up timing, finances and goals and can forget that miracles can pop into our lives on any day, opening up beautiful spaces for change, opportunity and so much joy.
So the intention of today’s meditation is to guide you through a visualization that will help you loosen your grip on the logistics of life and open yourself to the miracles waiting for you.
So Let’s Begin…
MAKE ROOM FOR MIRACLES MEDITATION SCRIPT
So go ahead and relax yourself into a comfortable position,
Closing your eyes,
Unclenching your jaw,
And lowering your shoulders.
Feel your breathing,
And let it bring you here. Now.
Aware of the present moment.
Aware of the space you’re in,
Aware of the rhythmic movements of your body,
And the sounds you hear around you.
Let your consciousness shift from planning, organizing and accomplishing,
Stay on your breath.
Stay in the present.
Imagine yourself standing in front of a wall. You have a marker in one hand and a smile on your face.
You’ve been drawing up plans on this wall, mapping out your goals, organizing your resources and timing everything out.
Always moving forward.
You stand back and admire the work you’ve done.
But there’s a part of you that feels unsettled.
And that’s when you hear it.
“Make room for miracles,” she says.
The voice startles you and causes you to look at your drawing.
The wall is full of words and arrows and circles and colors and makes you feel good.
But something is missing.
You close your eyes and take a deep breath in, listening for the voice for guidance.
“Make room for miracles,” she says again.
And suddenly, you notice you have a cloth in your hand.
You reach out with it and wipe the wall,
And just like magic, the place you touched is now bare, the markings that were there erased.
You take your cloth and wipe it a few more times over different spots of the wall, each touch erasing the colors and plans beneath it.
And then you stand back, observing your wall again.
And even though the flow of your beautiful design is now interrupted with dozens of clean spots,
You feel light.
And full of joy.
Breathe it in…
You close your eyes and with a big smile on your face, you take a deep breath in, knowing that the room you made for miracles didn’t disrupt your drawing, but instead became openings for you to see what was truly possible for you, beyond the wall.
You open your eyes and the wall is no longer there. Instead you find yourself looking at a collection of smiles, kisses, beaches, laughter, adventures and so much light.
You are flooded with light.
You are light.
