So Let’s Begin…

LET IT BE UNFINISHED SLEEP MEDITATION SCRIPT
You’ve done enough today.
Even if it doesn’t feel like it.
Even if the to-do list still hums in the background,
Tapping its foot,
Waiting to be answered.
PAUSE…
Even if your mind keeps circling back—
To what you forgot,
To what wasn’t said,
To what still feels unresolved.
PAUSE…
There is something sacred
In learning to leave things undone.
To let the day remain open-ended.
To trust that life keeps moving,
Even when you stop.
PAUSE…
Take a slow, gentle breath in.
And exhale with softness.
No force.
No rush.
Just the breath,
Moving through you,
Quiet, unrushed.
PAUSE…
You are not here to finish the day—
You are here to let it go.
To rest in the middle of the mess,
And allow that to be enough.
PAUSE…
Feel your body begin to settle.
Let your head rest heavy against your pillow.
Let your shoulders drop a little more.
Let your belly expand with breath.
Let your arms,
Your legs,
All grow heavy and soft.
LONG PAUSE…
Now imagine the day behind you,
Not as a list—
But as a book gently closing.
Pages left unread.
Tasks unfinished.
Stories still unfolding.
Let them be.
PAUSE…
You do not have to tie the bow tonight.
You don’t have to reach a conclusion.
You don’t have to resolve a single thing.
You get to pause.
Right here.
Right now.
PAUSE…
Repeat softly, as truth:
I let it be undone.
I let it be imperfect.
I let it be enough.
PAUSE…
The world is not waiting on your productivity.
It is waiting on your peace.
Your rest.
Your return to yourself.
PAUSE…
So leave the dishes in the sink.
Let the email wait until morning.
Let the questions remain unanswered.
Let the next step arrive…
After sleep.
LONG PAUSE…
Feel the soft invitation of the night.
The quiet lull of the dark,
Welcoming you back into stillness.
You’ve given so much.
You’ve held it together all day.
Now—
You let go.
PAUSE…
Sweet Dreams, Beautiful
