So Let’s Begin…

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY MEDITATION SCRIPT
As your eyes gently close,Â
And your face slowly softens,Â
Your shoulders release and fall,
From the weight they carry often.Â
PAUSE
As your breath reaches deep,Â
Collecting all that you hold,Â
As your exhale slowly releases,Â
Your body unravels and unfolds.Â
PAUSE
Your mind slowly clears,Â
The thoughts float away.
Your breath leads you home,Â
To the woman you are today.
PAUSE
One with your soul,
Magical and whole.Â
One with each other,Â
Our sisters, our mothers.Â
LONG PAUSE
Feel the light expand,Â
From the center of your chest.Â
It radiates outward,Â
Your true self expressed.Â
PAUSE
Let your light heal,Â
What’s wounded and dark.Â
The lessons you learn,Â
Become part of your spark.Â
PAUSE
Now feel your thick roots,Â
Anchor you to the ground.Â
You can bend and sway,Â
But can’t be knocked down.Â
LONG PAUSE
One with your soul,
Magical and whole.Â
One with each other,Â
Our sisters, our mothers.Â
LONG PAUSE
Now imagine your roots,Â
Connected down below,Â
To generations of trees,Â
Who’ve helped you to grow.Â
PAUSE
Their wisdom, their pain,Â
Their courage and strength,
Feel it run through you,Â
With each beautiful breath.Â
PAUSE
Feel yourself stand tall,
Steady in who you are.Â
Today I celebrate you,
For the woman you are.Â
LONG PAUSE
One with your soul,
Magical and whole.Â
One with each other,Â
Our sisters, our mothers.Â
Namaste, Beautiful
