Ebb & Flow Guided Meditation

Today’s guided meditation is an opportunity to connect with the rhythms of nature and the ebb and flow of life.

For every give,

There is receive.

For every push,

A pull.

For every inhale,

An exhale.

For every ebb,

There is a flow.

PAUSE…

Mother Nature reminds us,

That the rhythm of life,

Occurs in cycles.

That every wave that touches the shores,

Must pull back.

That every winter,

Eventually turns to spring.

That sunny days can be interrupted by storms,

And those clouds will eventually be gone,

And the sun will shine once again.

PAUSE…

So surrender to the wise rhythms of nature,

To the ebb and flow of your life.

So Let’s Begin…

EBB AND FLOW GUIDED MEDITATION SCRIPT

Find it in your breath now.

PAUSE…

The slow inhale pulling air deep into your body.

The soft exhale releasing the air out.

PAUSE…

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

The foundational ebb and flow of your life.

Right here,

In your breath.

LONG PAUSE…

Worry comes upon us,

When we feel the first raindrops from an approaching storm.

Instead of slowing down and finding shelter,

Instead of honoring the lightning and wind,

Instead of being grateful for the nourishment it brings,

We worry it will never end,

And obsess over the darkness.

PAUSE…

But if you just surrender to it,

If you accept,

If you open yourself up to the beauty of the storm,

You will release the stress,

And enjoy the rain,

And the sun that shines when it’s moved on.

You will find the magic in the ebb and flow of life.

LONG PAUSE…

There are moments of intensity,

And moments of lightness.

And a million moments in between.

They all have a place within your rhythm of life.

So ease into your own special ebb and flow.
