Tonight’s meditation will invite you to walk on the beach and allow the soothing sounds of the water relax you into sleep.
So Let’s Begin…
A SLEEPY WALK ON THE BEACH MEDITATION SCRIPT
So close your eyes, and let’s begin by setting tonight’s intention:
May you allow yourself to surrender to the deep and nourishing sleep awaiting you.
And let’s start by taking 3 deep breathes in,
Filling your body with refreshing air each time until it can’t expand anymore,
And exhaling all the day’s air out.
Another deep breath in, imagining the air coming in and cleansing you,
And letting all that air out.
Last deep breath in,
And exhale it all.
Settle into the natural rhythm of your breath,
Inviting your body to melt just a little more into your bed,
Keeping your attention here on your breath for just a little bit.
Now come with me to the beach for a sunset walk.
Imagining your feet sinking into the soft, white sand.
Feel the tiny grains dance on your skin as a gentle breeze blows by.
And feel the warm energy from the Earth rise up and kiss your toes.
The sun is about to set,
And the warmth of the day is still lingering in the water.
Let yourself feel the soothing waves tickle your feet,
And notice the warm energy spreading throughout your body and you begin walking along the shore.
The sun bids you goodnight as it drops below the horizon,
And it leaves the sky with its magical brushstrokes of magenta, oranges and purples.
You look at the painting in the sky and take a deep breath in,
Calling your body to be in this moment so you can appreciate this beauty to its fullest.
It’s almost as if you want to breathe in the magic of those colors,
So they can soothe you, relax you, calm you.
Let yourself sink deeper into your bed,
Deeper into comfort,
Deeper into sleep.
The songs of the seabirds are calling,
But enough for you to weave them into the sounds of the sea.
The orchestra of waves, birds and wind playing just for you as the nighttime sky emerges.
Let yourself surrender to the beach,
As the worries and tasks of the day melt away.
Feel your eyes get heavier,
And your body relax.
Notice the smooth rhythm of your walking,
Step after step inviting you to surrender to sleep,
Trusting she will embrace you with the softness of the night,
