So Let’s Begin…

A SLEEP MEDITATION FOR SENSITIVE SOULS SLEEP MEDITATION SCRIPT
Close your eyes now,
and come home to yourself.
PAUSE
This day has asked a lot of you.
You’ve felt the quiet weight of it all—
Not just your own stories,
but the ones that passed through the air,
unspoken, unseen…
yet somehow carried by you.
PAUSE
You were born with a soft radar—
A heart attuned to frequencies others don’t notice.
Maybe they called you too sensitive.
Maybe you’ve wondered if something was wrong.
PAUSE
But let it be known now—
This tenderness is not your flaw.
It is your power.
It is the divine made soft.
And tonight, it deserves to rest.
PAUSE
So let’s begin
with the breath.
PAUSE
Breathe in… slowly.
Let the air wrap gently around you.
Breathe out…
And begin to set down all that isn’t yours.
PAUSE
There are threads of energy
still clinging to you from the day—
a glance that felt too sharp,
a room that hummed too loud,
a moment that lingered in your chest.
But you do not need to hold it anymore.
PAUSE
Let the breath move through you
like a kind wind
clearing cobwebs from an old window.
PAUSE
Let it sweep through the heart.
Through the chest.
Through the belly.
Let it clear the space.
PAUSE
You are not meant to carry the weight of the world.
Even though you could.
Even though you have.
PAUSE
You are allowed
to lay it all down.
To offer it back to the earth.
To release it into the sky.
To trust it will be held by something greater.
PAUSE
There is a quiet sanctuary within you.
A place untouched by the noise,
the feeling,
the flood.
And as you lie here,
softly breathing,
you return to that place.
Where you are not absorbing.
You are simply being.
PAUSE
Feel yourself wrapped in a cocoon of warmth—
not imagined,
but real.
PAUSE
A loving layer of light,
woven by rest,
by softness,
by release.
PAUSE
Nothing can pierce it now.
Nothing can reach you
but peace.
LONG PAUSE
Your body,
so beautifully alive with sensation,
now begins to quiet.
PAUSE
Your chest slows its rhythm.
Your skin sighs into stillness.
Your heart finds its steady hum.
PAUSE
Just this.
Just breath.
Just sleep.
LONG PAUSE
You were never meant to harden
in order to survive.
You were only meant
to feel fully,
and then… let it pass.
PAUSE
So now,
let it pass.
Let it drain from the body,
down into the bed,
into the quiet earth below.
PAUSE
You are allowed this silence.
You are allowed this softness.
You are allowed to be held,
instead of holding everyone else.
PAUSE
Sleep, sweet one.
Let the stillness rise to meet you.
Let the peace of this moment
fill all your tender edges.
And know…
nothing about your sensitivity
needs to be fixed.
It only needed to be honored.
PAUSE
So rest now.
PAUSE
Sweet Dreams, Beautiful
