So Let’s Begin…

A COZY FIREPLACE MEDITATION FOR REST MEDITATION SCRIPT
The day is done, love.
Whatever unfolded is now behind you.
The lists, the conversations, the thoughts—
All complete.
PAUSE
You’ve arrived here,
In this quiet, gentle moment,
Where there is nothing left to do,
But rest.
PAUSE
Take in a slow, steady breath.
And as you exhale,
Feel your body soften just a little.
Another breath in,
And this time, notice your shoulders drop.
Exhale,
And let your arms feel heavy and warm.
One more deep breath,
Filling your belly with air,
And on the release,
Let your legs and feet sink deeper
Into the comfort of your bed.
LONG PAUSE
Tonight, there is a magic in the air.
A stillness that feels deeper than usual,
As though the world itself has slowed down,
Wrapping you in calm.
PAUSE
You can sense it in the quiet,
In the ease of your breath,
In the comfort of this moment.
PAUSE
It is a sacred quiet.
A rare calm.
A soft whisper reminding you,
“All is well.”
LONG PAUSE
See if you can picture yourself now,
In a cozy room.
The lights are dim,
The air is warm,
And the scent of woodsmoke
Fills the space around you.
PAUSE
A fireplace glows at the center,
Casting golden light
That dances across the walls,
Slow and soothing,
Like the rhythm of your breath.
PAUSE
You walk toward the couch
And settle into its soft cushions.
A blanket is waiting for you—
Thick, warm,
Perfectly comforting.
You pull it close around your body,
And immediately feel
The peace of being held.
LONG PAUSE
The fire crackles gently,
Its song of wood and flame
Lulling you deeper into rest.
PAUSE
You watch the flames sway and shift,
Sometimes small,
Sometimes tall,
Always glowing,
Always steady.
Their light flickers across the room,
Creating shadows that move like soft waves
On the walls and ceiling.
PAUSE
You notice the way the warmth
Reaches out from the fire,
Touching your face,
Smoothing over your arms,
Wrapping itself around you
Like a gentle hug.
Every muscle in your body
Begins to release,
Soothed by the heat,
Calmed by the glow.
LONG PAUSE
You lean back deeper into the couch,
Your head heavy on the cushion.
Your breath slows,
Matching the rhythm of the fire—
Expanding and contracting,
Rising and falling,
A dance of peace
Between you and the flame.
PAUSE
The world outside is hushed.
Snow is falling,
The night is clear and still.
And there is a deep peace in the air.
PAUSE
The fire continues to crackle.
Sparks float upward from time to time,
Glowing like tiny stars
That quickly dissolve into the air.
You watch them with soft eyes,
And notice how your thoughts
Do the same—
Flicker for a moment,
Then fade away into stillness.
LONG PAUSE
The blanket around you
Feels heavier now,
Drawing you further into comfort.
The firelight is softer,
More golden,
As if it too is ready for sleep.
You close your eyes,
And still you can feel the magic in the air—
A peace so deep
It seems to move through your very bones.
LONG PAUSE
Sweet Dreams, Beautiful.
