So Let’s Begin…

LET THE SIMPLE THINGS BE ENOUGH MEDITATION SCRIPT
Go ahead and get yourself settled,
in a way that feels comforting to your body right now.
PAUSE…
Close your eyes if that feels good to you,
and take a deep, full breath in…
And exhale slowly through your mouth.
PAUSE…
Let your body soften,
your shoulders drop,
and your belly loosen.
PAUSE…
Take another breath in,
and as you exhale,
let go of whatever is on your mind, or what might feel heavy.
PAUSE…
We’re simply choosing to be here—
grateful for this moment,
just as it is.
LONG PAUSE…
Today,
we practice the sacred art of appreciating what’s already here.
The small things.
The simple things.
The often overlooked things.
PAUSE…
The warmth of your blanket.
The taste of your coffee this morning.
The way the light touched the window.
The quiet moment before everyone woke up.
The sound of laughter.
The way your body breathes—without needing to be told how.
PAUSE…
These are the things that hold us.
That carry us.
That remind us we are already surrounded by enough.
PAUSE…
Let yourself recall one simple thing that brought you comfort recently.
No matter how small.
Maybe something you didn’t even notice until now.
LONG PAUSE…
Breathe it in.
Let your heart receive it fully.
Appreciate it with your whole being.
LONG PAUSE…
You are allowed to pause,
to breathe,
to rest in the fullness of what already is.
PAUSE…
Say to yourself now, either aloud or in your mind:
“The simple things are enough.”
“This moment is enough.”
“I am enough.”
PAUSE…
Feel that land in your heart.
Let it take up space inside you.
Let it soothe the striving,
the rushing,
the needing.
PAUSE…
You are doing beautifully, love.
And there is so much to be thankful for.
Even now.
Especially now.
LONG PAUSE…
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes…
Bring yourself gently back…
And carry this appreciation with you through your day.
Let the simple things be enough.
PAUSE…
Namaste, Beautiful.
