So Let’s Begin…

SILENCE IN THE WORLD MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT
Close your eyes and find your focus,
Train your mind on this thought for the day:
How far must you travel to find true silence,
Where in the world does it hide?
PAUSE…
So many people, so much noise,
The earth itself is chaos.
And yet, in so many secluded spaces,
Serenity waits to be found.
PAUSE…
Some sounds we can choose to eliminate,
Closing doors and turning off devices.
Others we can sink into and slip behind,
Like the roar of steady traffic.
PAUSE…
We can move through our world with purpose,
Controlling the sound of our feet.
We can modulate and adjust our voices,
Or simply decide not to speak.
PAUSE…
Best of all, we can search the world,
Pursuing the solace of quiet.
Whether in a park or a church or a library,
There are places to find what we seek.
PAUSE…
Nature’s silence is the best of all,
With its still pastures and sacred forests.
There you can sense the voice of the wind,
So quiet it makes you lean in.
PAUSE…
The Earth has things to say to us,
Things we’re more likely to hear with our mind.
When you give yourself over to its gentle pull,
You realize how much it wants to share.
PAUSE…
Don’t judge the world for its disorder,
Don’t decide there’s nothing to hear.
Instead, tune in and listen to its silence,
Feel the warmth and wisdom within.
Namaste, Beautiful
