AFFIRMATIONS TO SOOTHE OVERTHINKING AND DRIFT INTO REST MEDITATION SCRIPT

 

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in…

And as you exhale, feel your body begin to soften.

Release the tension in your shoulders,

Allow your chest to rise and fall gently with each breath.

Your body is ready for rest,

Your mind is ready to release the day.

 

PAUSE…

 

Feel your feet grow heavy,

Your legs sink deeper into the bed,

And your hips relax into stillness.

With each breath, your body becomes lighter,

As all tension gently dissolves.

 

PAUSE…

 

Allow the calm to spread through your belly,

Your chest softens,

Your arms rest gently at your sides,

Your neck and jaw release,

And finally, your eyes feel heavy as you sink into deep relaxation.
