Today’s morning meditation is a chance for you to practice creating more space for silence.

Good morning, beautiful.

Our meditations this week revolve around the theme of silent mind.

Today, we’re creating more space for silence by practicing sitting in silence.

Within this unguided silence, we can utilize everything we’ve been practicing all week – expanding the spaces between your breath, letting go of the thoughts, and being here with no agenda.

Ultimately, so we can practice unveiling the silence already within us, and also grow our capacity to be the silent mind.

So settle into your breathing,

And invite your entire body to relax deeply.

Take one big, deep breath in,

Filling yourself all the way up with the morning air.

And then exhale and release,

And feel yourself settle deeper.

And then be here.

One with your breath.

One with yourself.

One with this moment.

The new day is here and now is your time to greet her with love, with gratitude, with intention.

So the intention of today’s meditation is to create a feeling of excitement, peace and appreciation for the day ahead, so you can shine from the inside out.

RISE & SHINE MORNING MEDITATION SCRIPT

Let’s begin by sitting in a comfortable position that allows you to feel relaxed and also alert.

Take your first, deep breath in, inviting in the cool air to fill you up,

And letting it all out on your exhale.

Another deep breath in, feeling the refreshing air expand your chest and your belly,

And let it all out.

Let your breathing slow down into a normal, easy rhythm,

And see if you can feel your body relaxing a little bit more every time you breathe out.

Breathe…

PAUSE…

Allow yourself to imagine a tiny little fairy is hovering in front of you.

Her wings are flapping quickly and she’s holding a wand that’s illuminating boldly with white light.

She smiles at you, and you know she’s here for you. Safe. Kind.

You welcome her magic on this new morning.

PAUSE…

She reaches her arm out and softly touches your forehead with her wand.

Immediately, you feel the comforting coolness of her touch,

And can see that the light from her wand is now inside of you.

Breathe it in,

And notice that with every breath in, this refreshing, magical white light spreads throughout your body.

Illuminating your eyes,

Your mouth,

Your heart,

Your arms and hands,

Your belly,

Your legs and feet.

PAUSE…

You are glowing with the light of love.

Aware of the miracle of this moment.

This new day.

This chance to live intentionally, joyfully, and fully.

Feel the fresh energy radiating from your body.

PAUSE…

What’s important is not what actually occurs today.

It’s how you show up to the day ahead.

And right now, in this moment…you glow from the inside out.

GRATITUDE MEDITATION MINI SERIES – GRATITUDE FOR YOUR BODY MEDITATION SCRIPT

So let’s begin by closing your eyes if they’re not already,

And allow your attention to settle on your breathing.

This simple action your body does for you without you having to think about it.

This intake of oxygen that feeds your entire life.

Now expand your breath a little bit more,

Inhaling in deeper,

And exhaling out longer.

And notice as your body naturally slows down.

Your shoulders relax,

Your cheeks soften,

And your chest melts.

Your body is special. And so beautiful.

And today is your chance to pay homage to her.

So bring your attention to your feet,

Imagining warm, golden rays of sunshine lighting them up,

Feeling the tingling of attention reminding you of the gift of movement they give you.

Think of all the miles they’ve carried you and let the gratitude fill you up and lighten you.

PAUSE…

And now, bring your attention to your legs,

Your calves, knees, quads and thighs,

And see all the images of their powerful strength moving you and balancing you,

And let the gratitude flood in.

PAUSE…

Now bring your attention to the beautiful bundle of your sexual organs,

This magical garden that exudes the essence of your womanhood.

Pleasure and life can live here…can thrive here.

And even when they haven’t, this garden is here for you, working on your behalf.

Breathe in gratitude, and feel yourself grow lighter.

PAUSE…

Now let your attention travel up to your stomach, your heart, your breasts and your chest.

Feel this entire area expand with each inhale as it reminds you of who you are.

All your major organs inside working just for you.

Feel the gratitude arise and expand with breath.

PAUSE…

Now allow your attention to rise to your shoulders, arms, hands and fingers.

These tremendous parts that give you so much freedom to navigate your life,

To embrace, to hold, to carry and to give.

Breathe in deep gratitude and feel the warmth inside of you grow.

Now bring your attention to your neck, your face and your head.

Let them tingle with the warmth of attention as you are reminded of the smiles, the laughter and the tears.

Think about the tastes, smells and sights available to you and the enormous power of your brain that makes it all possible.

Flood yourself with the light of gratitude.

You are so blessed to be in this body.

It’s resilient, strong and absolutely gorgeous.

Feel the deep, golden glow of gratitude illuminating every single part of your body.

QUICK PRESENT MOMENT MEDITATION SCRIPT

Let’s begin by closing your eyes if you haven’t already,

And go ahead and take a deep breath,

Giving your body a bit of a pattern interrupt,

A message for it to stop and come inward.

Take another deep breath in,

And this time see if you can imagine all that air filling your body,

All the way down to your toes.

And as you exhale, feel the release of the day.

The release of the past.

The release of the future.

The release of anything that isn’t here and now.

Bring your breathing back to a comfortable rhythm.

And just stay here for a bit.

Breathing.

Being.

Feel your body move.

Aware of the miracle of its complexities.

Let’s begin by closing your eyes and relaxing your body,

Settling into a position that’s comfortable for you.

As soon as your eyes close, you may be more aware of the thoughts popping up in your mind.

Busy with figuring things out,

Lining up the day’s logistics,

Reminding you about yesterday’s events or tomorrow’s responsibilities.

You don’t have to choose to hold onto any of these thoughts.

You can let them all go every time you breathe out.

Feeling them leave your mind like bubbles into the air. 

Breathe them out,

And let yourself feel the spaciousness expand as the thoughts are cleared out.

PAUSE…

Do you know who you are?

You are the sun and the moon and the stars as they dance with each other in the cosmic ballet.

You are the waves of the great oceans, moving the land and the life you touch with a gentle, yet powerful force. 

You are the tiny grain of sand on the beach, surrounded by your brothers and sisters, aware you’re a part of a beautiful whole and yet so uniquely your own, special piece of Earth. 

You are light.

You are love.

Do you want to know a secret? 

There is no one else in this entire universe exactly like you.  

No one. 

You are your own special flavor of beauty.

And no matter how much pain, ego and suffering there may have been in your yesterdays,

Miracles in the Mundane

Today’s miracles in the mundane meditation will give you the opportunity to really feel how miraculous the mundane is…how miraculous every moment of your life actually is. How miraculous YOU ARE.

Today’s meditation will be especially helpful for you if you feel like you’re just going through the motions right now, or maybe feeling a little ho-hum about life, or even feeling like you’re barely keeping your head above water.

We can often feel these things because we get lost or overwhelmed with the details of our lives and maybe even a little obsessed with always striving for more, and in the process we can forget that there are miracles all around us…miracles in the mundane.

When we take the time to pause, to breathe, to get present, how we see things can completely change, transforming everyday, mundane moments into genuine miracles.

So the intention of today’s meditation is to give you the opportunity to really feel how miraculous the mundane is…how miraculous every moment of your life actually is. How miraculous YOU ARE.

So Let’s Begin…

Miracles in the Mundane

MIRACLES IN THE MUNDANE MEDITATION SCRIPT

Let’s begin by bringing your attention inward,

Inviting your mind to detach from all those thoughts

And to focus on your breathing,

Your chest and belly rising and falling with each breath,

The sounds of air flowing in and out of your nose,

The position of your body,

The weight of it on the chair or bed or floor on which you’re positioned.

PAUSE…

This practice of focusing on your breath and being aware of your body is a simple way to pull yourself into the present moment,

Away from thinking about the past or future,

And pulling you into what is now.

Be here,

With your breath,

And allow every breath out to release any stress or worries or frustrations you might be having right now,

Feeling yourself get lighter with every exhale.

Breathe in,

Breathe out and release.

Breathe in,

PAUSE…

Now imagine yourself back into the scene of a recent moment that happened.

A moment that seemed fairly mundane or routine at the time.

Perhaps the moment you’re thinking of was the rush of the morning.

Or driving around away from your home.

Maybe it was a phone call with a loved one,

Or even a shower you were taking yesterday.

Whatever moment you choose, focus in on it as if you were pausing a scene in a movie.

And breathe…

PAUSE…

Allow yourself to slowly replay this scene,

These few moments that may have seemed ordinary at the time,

And imagine yourself pressing pause again.

What miracles can you see?

PAUSE…

Is there another person in this scene with you whom you love?

Feel the gratitude for having them in your life.

What might this moment looked like through their eyes?

Were you using resources not everyone has in abundance? Water? Electricity? Money? Shelter?

Feel the gratitude for these resources.

Were you in good health? Was your body functioning well?

Feel the gratitude for your physical health.

For the next few minutes, allow yourself to watch this scene again, very slowly,

Eagerly picking out the miracles you see.

PAUSE…

Now take a deep breath in and as you do, feel yourself filling with the refreshing air of gratitude,

And as you exhale, feel the lightness in your body,

In your mind,

In your soul.

Your life is filled with miracles, my love,

Every single moment of it.

And the more you recognize them and cultivate gratitude for them,

The more you will shine and live your life with joy,

No matter what is going on in the world around you.

Dreaming Into the Future Meditation

Today’s dreaming into the future meditation will give you the freedom to dream into the future. To play with all the possibilities. And to dance with the creativity within you.

The power of the present moment is undeniable. Which is why we use meditation as a practice to come into the now.

So we can access everything that is here for us. Our deep connection to our true selves. The joy of appreciation for who we are and all we have around us. The peace as we let go of fears, anxieties and attachments to the past and the future.

And…meditation can also be helpful in giving us the space to dream. To free our minds from the boundaries of the lives we are in now, and expand our visions to what could possibly be.

So the intention of today’s meditation is to give you the freedom to dream into the future. To play with all the possibilities. And to dance amongst the creativity within you.

So Let’s Begin…

DREAMING INTO THE FUTURE MEDITATION SCRIPT

So go ahead and relax your body as you settle into a comfortable position.

And take in your first deep breath,

Filling your body with fresh air, feeling it expand until it can’t anymore.

And let all the air go.

Take one more deep breath in, feeling your belly expand like a balloon,

And exhale, feeling your belly contract in as you let all that air out.

Bring your breathing to its normal rhythm,

And just notice your body feeling a little bit more calm,

A little bit more relaxed,

A little bit more mellow,

With every breath out.

PAUSE…

Now see if you can allow yourself to imagine that you’re sitting comfortably with nature all around you.

What are you sitting on?

What do you see around you?

What sounds do you hear?

How does it feel to be outside?

Allow yourself to paint this picture.

This is you one year from now.

Allow a smile to spread across your peaceful face as you sit in gratitude,

As your future self thinks about all the great things that transpired this past year.

Thinking about who you are now and who you were one year ago.

And for the next five minutes, I want you to allow your mind to paint a picture that will finish this sentence…

I am so happy and grateful that this past year, I…

Give yourself permission to answer it as many times as you like, with as many events, circumstances, objects or people that you can possibly think up.

Let the paintbrush of your mind have fun. There is no right or wrong. There is nothing too big or too small.

Just allowing your future self to answer this question, as if anything you dream up has already happened.

So let’s begin…

No matter what life may have thrown at you today, there is always so much to be grateful for. And focusing on it will open the doors for even more good to come your way.

END YOUR DAY WITH GRATITUDE MEDITATION SCRIPT

So close your eyes and settle onto your bed.

And go ahead and stretch your arms and your legs out as far as they can go,

Imagining your spine straightening and aligning, and inviting any physical discomforts to release.

And then release the stretch, bringing your arms and legs back in,

And let yourself settle into your favorite sleeping position.

PAUSE…

Notice your breath,

Observe its rhythm,

Its consistent and reliable cadence.

Feel the air as it fills your lungs and breathes life into your body.

See if you can imagine all that oxygen traveling throughout your body,

And let yourself silently whisper, thank you, as you think about how precious each of these breathes are.

What a miracle it is for you to be here right now.

CHOOSE HEALTHY HABITS MEDITATION SCRIPT

Let’s begin by settling your body into a position that’s relaxed and alert.

And as you do, invite your attention to come onto your breath,

Pulling your mind out of the thoughts running around,

And into the natural, easy rhythm of your breathing.

PAUSE…

Focus even further on your breathing,

By counting for every breath in, until you get to five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Breathe…

Feel the warmth in your body as you’re present to the oxygen it’s taking in.

And let the warmth relax your body even further as you sink into your position.

Now see if you can imagine yourself sitting at a table.

Your body feels comfortable, and your mind is at ease.

As you look at the table in front of you, you notice two big bowls.

The one on your right is filled with a luscious array of fruits,

Apples, bananas, mangoes, cherries and any other fruit you can imagine.

Observe this bowl.

See the vibrant colors,

The perfectly ripe readiness of the fruit.

Imagine yourself taking a bite out of your favorite and feel its juices enliven you,

Nourish you,

Refresh you.

Take a moment to notice how your body feels, how your mind feels, how your spirit feels.

PAUSE…

These are your healthy habits.

All those little things you do to take care of yourself from the inside out.

This is what it feels like to eat well,

Drink plenty of water,

Move your body,

Give yourself quiet time,

Cultivate positive thoughts,

Speak kindly to yourself and others,

And more.

Let yourself fully feel how good it feels to be here, in the nourishment of these empowering habits.

PAUSE…

Now go ahead and observe the table again. This time, let your gaze fall upon the bowl on the left.

This bowl is also filled with fruit.

And right away, your hand reaches out to take it.

But as you look closer, you notice the fruit is overripe, brown and covered in mold.

You bring your hand back and without needing to taste them,

You know the fruit is not suitable for your body, your mind or your spirit.

Let yourself sit in that knowing, that crystal clear understanding that what you see before you is not empowering or nourishing.

That it is destructive.

PAUSE…

Now observe yourself sitting at the table again,

Still with both bowls of fruit in front of you.

Take a deep breath in and as you do, feel yourself deeply connecting to the center of you,

The part of you who knows who you are.

Your true self.

This is the woman who knows what choice is right for her today.

The woman who is confident as she reaches for her bowl,

Knowing it will enhance her.

This is the woman who loves herself so much, she knows that even if she chooses the wrong bowl today,

That she is still a good person,

And that she can always come here again and choose differently.

This is the woman who has learned to pause, take a breath, and make her choices according to what she hears her soul calling for.

This woman is YOU.

PAUSE…

So take a deep breath in, inviting in freshness, newness and love.

And as you breathe out, feel yourself relaxing deeper into yourself.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes as you ease out of your meditation and into the day.

Bring your hands together in front of your heart,

And as you bow your head, let us end our time with an intention,

We Rise Together – A Meditation of Love for the World

Today’s meditation of love will give you the space to hope. To feel deeply connected to others and our world as a whole. To feel inspired to make things better in your own special way. And, to collectively send love out into the world.

The pain and suffering and negativity in the world around us can be overwhelming.

It’s easy to feel hopeless, helpless and even deeply depressed by what we see.

So the intention of today’s meditation is to give you the space to hope. To feel deeply connected to others and our world as a whole. To feel inspired to make things better in your own special way. And, to collectively send love out into the world.

We all rise together.

So Let’s Begin…

WE RISE TOGETHER – A MEDITATION OF LOVE FOR THE WORLD MEDITATION SCRIPT

Allow yourself to get into a comfortable position – sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes and invite yourself to be the observer.

The observer of your breath.

In and out.

Expanding and contracting.

Receiving and releasing.

The observer of your thoughts.

Allowing them to drift away as soon as they pop up,

Freeing yourself from their desire to stay and play.

Letting them go.

One by one.

Be the observer of your body,

Recognizing if there are any places of discomfort or pain,

And inviting it to leave your body on your outbreath.

Just observing.

PAUSE…

Mother Teresa said, I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water that creates many ripples.

That stone is love.

And right now, I want you to imagine yourself holding that stone.

Look at it in your hand.

See it’s shape and color.

Feel its texture.

Hold it to your heart, and imagine it being infused with your love.

Your deep desire for more kindness, more compassion, more honesty, more connectivity, more beauty.

Allow the images of pain and suffering and negativity that are so pervasive, evolve into images of love, healing and joy.

Be here with these images for a bit, and allow them the space to expand.

PAUSE…

Now bring your attention onto your stone again.

This time, noticing that it shines brightly in your hands.

You stare out onto the water in front of you,

Bring your arm back,

And extend your arm with a powerful force, throwing the stone of love across the smooth water in front of you.

The stone jumps on the water, each time, casting ripples out,

And eventually, dropping heavily, leaving a wake of many, beautiful ripples.

PAUSE…

You feel yourself smile, knowing your love is being cast out into the world.

And then something catches your attention.

You see more ripples in the water.

You see the smooth water being disrupted by all kinds of different stones, and ripples small and large painting the water with their love.

And they each glow. They each shine brightly.

And soon, the water in front of you illuminates with deep loving energy that you imagine spreading like a healing salve all across the world.

You look around and see one person after another, looking upon the water, their hands still vibrating from the stone they just released.

We’re all here.

Seeing each other.

Connecting with each other.

Giving our love out onto the world together,

So that love can heal, change and evolve us all.

Be here in this moment.

Feel the warmth of the massive light in front of you,

Feel the connection with everyone around you.

PAUSE…

Take a deep breath in and hear Mother Teresa whispering, you can do what I cannot do. I can do what you cannot do. Together, we can do great things.

We rise together.

This meditation will give you the space to connect with your inner voice. So you can deepen your intimacy with her and continue to cultivate a trust in her, and therefore a trust in yourself…a trust in the voice who will always speak your truth with love.

She’s always speaking to you. Directing you on where to go. What decisions to make and how to navigate through your life. Reminding you of what you need and creating the most beautiful dreams of what’s possible for you.

Sometimes she whispers. Sometimes she screams. But always…she’s speaking to you.

Your inner voice. She represents your true self. Free from ego. Free from expectations. Free from fear.

She is your guiding light.

So the intention of today’s meditation is to give you the space to connect with your inner voice. So you can deepen your intimacy with her and continue to cultivate a trust in her, and therefore a trust in yourself…a trust in the voice who will always speak your truth with love.

So Let’s Begin…

CONNECT TO YOUR INNER VOICE MEDITATION SCRIPT

Invite yourself to relax into a position that’s comfortable for you,

Allowing your body to adjust as needed,

And focus your attention on your breathing,

Imagining that every outbreath settles you deeper into your position,

And slows you down.

See if you can breathe in just a little deeper,

And breathe out just a little longer.

Expanding your breathing, and slowing down your body naturally.

PAUSE…

Today is a practice of being.

Of simply sitting with yourself in the present moment.

So the spaciousness where your inner voice lives can be revealed.

There is nothing for you to do.

Nothing for you to seek out.

It is all here within you.

In this moment.

So just breathe…

PAUSE…

Perhaps your mind is trying to problem solve,

Trying to make sure this meditation works.

Longing to feel connected to yourself.

As you notice any thoughts or emotions arise,

Just notice them,

And allow them to pass,

Bringing yourself back to your breath.

Breathing in…

And breathing out.

PAUSE…

This is the doorway to your inner voice.

This present moment.

This breath.

This space that exists within you when you release your thoughts and emotions.

Be here.

And listen for a bit…

PAUSE…

If there’s guidance you’re seeking,

Decisions you’re pondering,

Emotions you’re managing,

Imagine them being released from you every time you breathe out.

And just allow yourself to be here right now,

With no agenda,

No expectations,

No attachment to the outcomes.

No desires.

Just deep presence.

This is the way in.

Letting it all go.

PAUSE…

Feel that spaciousness expand.

Feel the softness.

This is your home.

This is you.

Be here,

And connect to your inner voice.

Perhaps imagining yourself bringing your hand to your heart,

Tapping into your true self.

Be here for a few minutes.

PAUSE…

Everything you could possibly want,

Is already here for you.

Inside of you.

All you have to do is be here and listen.

She is always here to guide you with never ending love.

True joy begins here.
