Let your body relax.

Let your mind clear.

Let your soul breathe.

Touch the sadness inside.

The dark blue melancholy of loss.

Gather it all up in your center,

With every breath in.

PAUSE…

Let it be here.

Pulsing with emotions,

And memories.

Coated in tears.

PAUSE…

It’s okay that it’s here.

It’s okay for you to feel it.

Let it be here with you.

Part of you.

So Let’s Begin…

GRIEF AND HEALING GUIDED MEDITATION SCRIPT

So often we want to escape,

From the hidden caves of grief inside.

Afraid of where they’ll take us,

Afraid of what we’ll find.

PAUSE…

But you are safe here,

Wrapped in the loving arms of these words.

And surrounded by the healing that lies within.

LONG PAUSE…

So take a deep, deep breath,

As the dark blue expands with you.

And when you can’t inhale anymore,

Hold it for just a moment,

And then exhale,

Releasing the tension,

And dissolving the emotions.

PAUSE…

Take one more deep breath in,

Imagining the cooling waves of healing enter.

And then hold it at the top again.

Hold it.

And then let it go,

Let it go.

Let it go.

PAUSE…

Fall into a calming, easy rhythm of breathing.

And simply be here.

Floating in the safe waters,

Where grief and healing reside.

LONG PAUSE…

Loss carves a hole in your heart,

That will never be filled.

But your heart can reshape,

And soften,

And strengthen.

PAUSE…

Memories become lessons.

Lessons become wisdom.

And eventually,

Gratitude blows wind in your sails.
