7 Day Meditation Challenge – Day 6: Just Be

Welcome to day 6 of the 7 Day Meditation Challenge. I’m incredibly honored that you’re here with me and so close to finishing your challenge.

There is a tenet in mindfulness called “non-striving.” It’s the art of trying less and being more.

Which seems to go against everything we are taught about life.

The normal cadence of our lives tend to be filled with movement…going towards a goal, getting things checked off our lists, doing yet another thing.

And while having goals and moving towards important things in our lives is wonderful, it can pull our minds into future-thinking and take us out of the present.

You’ve experienced this if you’ve ever hit a goal and barely celebrated or even acknowledged your accomplishment because you were already onto the next thing.

Non-striving does not make achieving wrong…it simply gives us a reminder to JUST BE. To allow ourselves to fully enjoy the present moment and to stop trying so hard…to surrender ourselves to the is-ness of the now.

As it relates to your meditation practice, remember there is nowhere to go…that right here, right now is the gift…is the juice of your journey.

The more you meditate…the more you meditate.

In some ways, you get “better” as you simply incorporate techniques you learn along the way.

But meditation is always a practice…there is always something new that reveals itself when you show up.

There is nowhere to go.

Just BE HERE NOW.

So, the intention of today’s meditation is to honor the space you have created for yourself to just show up and be.

Once we get started, there will be less guidance today and more focus on the silence.

So you can practice just being here.

So let’s begin…

No one else with your special blend of experiences, circumstances, relationships and vision.

And that makes you so very special.

So the intention of today’s meditation is to give you the space to honor that in yourself. To connect with your light. To step into the beauty that is you.

7 Day Meditation Challenge – Day 5: Gratitude: Focus on the Good

Hello and welcome to day 5 of the 7 Day Meditation Challenge. I’m so grateful you’re here with me today.

Gratitude is so much more than a list of things that make us happy. It’s even more than a state of mind.

Gratitude is truly the gateway to your optimal life.

Because focusing our attention on all the good in our lives helps us to deeply appreciate the present moment, and therefore let go of our tight hold on the past and present…on all the worries and stresses.

It also helps attract more of those things we are so grateful for. Filling up our lives with more and more of the good we focus on.

A beautiful cycle that builds on itself.
So the intention of today’s meditation is to give you the opportunity to feel the power of gratitude. To feel how it can shift your attitude, how it can change your entire experience of life. And to allow yourself to open up to receiving even more of what it is you’re grateful for.

And ultimately, to give you a way to celebrate yourself and your life as it is now.

So let’s begin…

7 Day Meditation Challenge – Day 4: You Are Meant to Shine

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the 7 Day Meditation Challenge. I’m so grateful you’re here with me and especially excited about guiding you through today’s meditation.

Meditation allows us the space to pause. To check in with ourselves. To remove the clutter of all the to-do’s, the responsibilities, the expectations and even the emotions, so we can simply be with ourselves.

And we can use this space as a way to not only connect with our authentic selves, but to illuminate her. To give oxygen to the embers of love and potential within us and watch as the fire grows beyond us and out into the world. Bringing our special blend of love, joy and peace to every one and every thing around us.

You are meant to shine, beautiful.

And the intention of today’s meditation is to help you connect with that truth.

So let’s begin…

7 Day Meditation Challenge – Day 3: Detach From Your Thoughts

Welcome to day 3 of the 7 Day Meditation Challenge.

A foundational concept of mindfulness is recognizing that you…your true self, your soul…are separate from your thoughts. That the things you think about are not you.

That, in fact, you are the observer of your thoughts.

Which is incredibly powerful.

Because knowing that allows you to choose to give energy to the thoughts that serve you well. Thoughts that bring you joy and help you create a life you love.

And also, you can choose to let the negative thoughts pass through you…the thoughts that don’t serve you well, so they don’t take root within you and bring you down.

So the intention of today’s meditation is to guide you through a visualization that will allow you to practice detaching from your thoughts. So you can connect deeply to yourself without their influence. And, so you can clearly see the power of choosing your thoughts wisely.

7 Day Meditation Challenge – Day 2: Focus on the Breath

Welcome to day 2 of the 7 Day Meditation Challenge.

Breath work is a foundational part of any meditation practice. It simply means that we use the breath as a tool. To help us focus our energy. To help us visualize. To help us heal. To help us relax our bodies and quiet our minds.

Our breath is powerful.

So the intention of today’s guided meditation is to give you the space to focus on your breath, so you can begin to tap into its power.

7 Day Meditation Challenge – Day 1: A Mindful Pause

Welcome to day 1 of the 7 Day Meditation Challenge. Whether this is your first time meditating or you’re simply needing a kickstart your regular practice again, I’m deeply grateful you’re here with me.

The intention of today’s guided meditation is to simply practice being here. To give you the space to pause, to let my words guide you and to allow your practice to open up a space to connect with your true self…your inner voice.

Our lives are constantly in motion…constantly busy. So when we meditate, when we take a few minutes out of our day to mindfully pause, it forces us to slow down, be present and to recalibrate ourselves so we can truly live vibrantly.

The reason I create and share guided meditations for women is because I believe it’s a powerful tool that can help you connect to your true self. And when you do, and you listen to what she tells you, you can show up to your life boldly, lovingly and with intention. You can truly shine from the inside out, living in joy and purpose.

Keep in mind that meditation is a practice. It is never perfect. It is always in progress. Some days your time meditating will leave you feeling alive and luminescent. And some days, it will seem like nothing at all happened. But just stick with it. I promise you, your meditation practice will become one of your best tools for knowing yourself and living your best life!
